Become Acquainted with Aqua

Aqua! I love it! :D Aquamarine is my favorite of all colors. Eh, well, maybe excepting pink. :)

Actually, when I think about it, I love Aqua best when I'm feeling peaceful, serene, graceful, and grown-up. :) I love Pink best when I'm feeling happy and energetic and bouncy and sweet and cute. :D

So! Enjoy these pretty backgrounds that all feature some shade of my {sometimes}favorite color, Aqua! Or Teal, which is like a darker shadow of Aqua. :)

Credit: The free backgrounds in this series were made using papers and elements from Friendly Scrap except for "A Little Bit of Aqua" and "Fresh Day", which were made using elements from Summertimedesigns.

Remember......For the sake of saving space, I have not posted previews of the three column versions of every background... (although I do try to do that when the three column version looks different.) ...the code is just underneath the 'standard' width code for each design. (They usually look very much like the standard width except that the middle section is just a little wider.)

To use a free background, copy the code underneath the background of your choice and paste it into an HTML/javascript gadget on your blog sidebar. :) For more details (and how to install a background into a Picture Window template, see the installation instructions page.)

A Touch of Elegance

Love, love, LOVE the shabby-chic look of this design, with the weathered wood and soft lace combined!

A Touch of Elegance and Flowers
...And of course there HAD to be a version with soft white flowers, too. :)

Patient Flower
I'm not really sure why I called this design "Patient Flower"... the little flower at the side seemed to be waiting for something in the most cheerful, patient manner... (I don't know, maybe I'm just nuts..) ;)

White Petals
This one looks sort of 'bridal' to me....
